Garrett Schwarzman, MD, Joins Flagler Health+ Orthopedic Specialists

St. Augustine, Fla. October 6, 2022 – Dr. Garrett Schwarzman, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, has joined Flagler Health+ Orthopedic Specialists. Dr. Schwarzman is now practicing at the Flagler Health+ Orthopedic Specialists locations at Flagler Hospital’s St. Augustine campus and at the Flagler Health+ Village at Nocatee.

Dr. Schwarzman joins the Flagler Health+ team after completing his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the renowned Andrews Research Education Foundation in Gulf Breeze, FL.

“The addition of Dr. Schwarzman to the Flagler Health+ Orthopedic Specialists team will serve to provide even more top quality service to our community,” said Dr. David Rice, Chief Physician Executive. “His knowledge and his experience as an athlete adds to an already stellar orthopedic team.”

He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, majoring in Chemistry and History with a pre-med focus. Dr. Schwarzman completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

An accomplished athlete, Dr. Schwarzman competed in Crew at the University of Wisconsin and is a half-Ironman finisher who has twice run, and finished, the Chicago Marathon. He also enjoys traveling, biking, and working out with his wife.
